How do I activate my Prepaid Gift Card?

1. Look at the back of your card or in the packaging for which Gift Card online website to visit.

3. Click on ‘I Have A Card’, o ‘Card Activation’, if you have a physical Visa or Mastercard gift card.
4. Enter you 16 digit Visa or Mastercard card number.
5. Enter the Card Expiration Date  (Date found on the front of the card). Enter the date as MM/YY.
6. Enter your Security Code/CVV Code.  This is the 3-digit code found on the back of Discover, Mastercard and Visa prepaid cards.
7. Click on ‘Activate Card’.

Note: If you have received a Virtual Gift Card as a reward, then click on ‘Enter Code’, or similar, to activate your virtual card. Then, under Redeem your Code, enter the gift card code that you have received in your welcome email.

Note: Most prepaid gift card issuers do not require you to activate your card before use. For example, Visa and Mastercards that are distributed by Prepaidgiftbalance.com, www.myprepaidbalance.com and www.vanillagift.com can be used without card activation, but we recommend that you register your card on the associated website to enable online use.
